Carl has over 18 years of diversified corporate HR/Staffing Management consulting experience helping senior executives and staffing leaders of rapidly growing organizations align their talent acquisition and retention practices with changing business performance needs.

Carl specializes in performing current state recruitment delivery model (people, process, organizational, technology & strategy) gap analysis, best practice competitive benchmarking, solutions design & implementation.  Additional areas of specialty include: diversity/generational recruitment optimization, technology vendor selection advisory services, RPO vendor selection / management, and recruiting or HR leadership development skills mentoring /coaching. Carl has worked on engagements for companies ranging in size from startups to multi-national, global organizations and has considerable expertise in the banking/insurance/financial services, Hospitality, Pharmaceutical / Biotech/Healthcare, Consumer products, Energy and Retail industries.
 

Carl’s management consulting philosophy is rooted in his belief that employers need to think more like the job seekers they wish to hire, and job seekers need to be educated on how employers think if they are to be successful in each other’s goals to find the best long term match. Carl’s consulting style is efficient and pragmatic and he has a unique ability to synthesize complex recruitment and retention challenges in order to create right fit, practical solutions that meet long term talent related business objectives.

As the economy begins to recover, Carl and his team are spending a lot of time helping employers prepare for the economic rebound by assessing, integrating and implementing solutions to re-align their recruiting practices with their future changing talent and business performance needs.  Recent focus or Carl's engagements  address challenges related to OFCCP compliance risk analysis, social media recruitment strategy integration, process improvement, ATS technology optimization and overall cost reduction.

Carl is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Capital Institute (HCI) and a current Chicago Chapter Board Member of the Staffing Management Association (SMAGC – Formerly EMA). As the leadership advisory board president of Upwardly Global (UpwardlyGlobal.org), Carl also volunteers significant time in his off hours sharing his expertise and contacts to help work authorized immigrant professionals compete effectively in their US job search to secure meaningful employment in their professions.

Carl holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Loyola University with an emphasis in Industrial Psychology.
