![]() Darrell JamesDiversity & Acquisition SpecialistDarrell has over 18 years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources. He is an expert in designing, implementing, and managing strategic staffing, human resources, and diversity initiatives. Darrell has also focused a significant amount of his thought leadership, council and implementation support in supporting organizational change for companies striving to improve their overall diversity/inclusion efforts in the area of talent identification, attraction and acquisition. Darrell’s success has been evident in many Fortune 500 clients such as American Express, Viacom, Coke, Frito-Lay, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Liberty Mutual, Textron and HSBC Bank USA, N.A. Additionally, Darrell was the co-designer and trainer of the “Diversity Recruitment Training Workshop” that was created to assist Corporate Staffing Departments with their strategic and tactical initiatives that increase their diversity candidate pipeline. Prior to Darrell’s extensive consulting career he was the Vice President of Hudson Inclusion Solutions Recruitment Services of the Hudson Highland Group. At Hudson, he was responsible for the development and delivery of diversity executive search, staffing, and recruitment consulting services. Darrell is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM); HR Houston; Staffing Management Association (SMA); National Black MBA; and National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR). Currently he is serving as the founding President of the Houston Chapter of the NAAAHR. He also has his Professional Human Resources and AIRS Internet Recruiter certifications. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and as well as a M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from Arizona State University. |
