Quick Service, Fast Service & Casual Dining

“Ultimately the success or failure of an enterprise like ours is based on the level of customer satisfaction we deliver. We recognize how critical it is to have the right talent in place at all levels, especially our general managers and the direct impact they have on driving customer satisfaction. talentRISE has delivered to us top talent. This talent is hard to find and hard to keep…we engaged talentRISE because they specialize and deliver both. I don’t know why anyone in our industry would try and do this on their own when talentRISE can do it better, faster and cheaper.”

The food service industry may not be completely recession proof, but at a minimum, it is resilient! The challenges in this industry range from intense competition to thin margins to public pressure surrounding the nutritional value of their menus. Yet, the single biggest opportunity for success is being harvested by only a fraction of the entire industry … the value of talent- top talent.

In the late nineties, a small percentage of companies broke a simple code; improving customer service improves bottom-line profits! talentRISE is now working with a growing number of companies who understand that improving their talent has a direct and immediate impact on improving customer service.

The new equation for success today is:
Top talent = Improved customer service = Increased profitability.

Of course there are other core metrics that require the imperative that food service companies optimize their talent:

  • Turnover - at 100% turnover (not uncommon), in a store with 40 employees and a $1,750 replacement cost for each lost crew that represents $70,000 in costs. A beleaguered franchisee with a 10 percent profit on sales would have to do $700,000 in sales just to absorb this cost!
  • Theft – the average cost of a bad hire is $400/year. Using our example above, that’s another $16,000 in losses per year.

The point is rather simple - “improve the talent at the GM or Manager level in food service and reap the profits and increased market share you deserve—the talentRISE approach will simply find you better talent faster and cheaper than you can. Our team has had amazing results with companies like: Panera, Jimmy John’s, Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Café & Burger King … to name just a few.
