William Miller works as a Diversity Research Consultant for the TalentRise Executive Search practice. A seasoned HR professional and executive placement expert, William has been connecting high-quality candidates with high-growth companies for over 30 years. His knowledge of full lifecycle recruitment—paired with his expertise of workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies—provide significant value for TalentRise’s clients.

Throughout his illustrious career in talent acquisition, William has worked alongside hundreds of organizations by placing executives in upper management and C-suite roles. His client base spans a number of sectors—including banking, healthcare, consumer products, finance and accounting, IT, non-profit management, secondary education, and government.

Prior to becoming part of the TalentRise team, William worked as the Director of Talent Acquisition at ValueHealth, where he spearheaded the recruitment strategy for all corporate operations throughout the United States. He has also served as the Director of Executive Search and Diversity Recruiting at Gallagher Benefits Consultants, held the position of Human Resources Specialist at Commerce Bank & Trust, and been employed by Spencer Reed Group as an Assistant Manager of Technical Recruiting.

William graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with his undergraduate degree in psychology before advancing to Webster University in St. Louis, where he earned his Master’s in Business Administration. He currently resides in Kansas City, MO.
